| (11) E per lo movimento quasi insensibile che fa da occidente in oriente per uno grado in cento anni, significa le cose incorruttibili, le quali ebbero da Dio cominciamento di creazione e non averanno fine: e di queste tratta la Metafisica. | (11) By the almost imperceptible movement which it makes from west to east at the rate of one degree in a hundred years, it signifies the incorruptible things which had their beginning through creation by God and shall have no end; and these Metaphysics treats. | |
| (12) Però dico che questo movimento significa quelle, che essa circulazione cominciò e non averebbe fine; ché fine della circulazione è reddire ad uno medesimo punto, al quale non tornerà questo cielo secondo questo movimento. | (12) Therefore I say that this movement signifies these things, because this revolution had a beginning and shall have no end, for the end of a revolution consists of returning to the same point, to which this heaven, according to its movement, shall never return. | |

E così è manifesto che lo Cielo stellato per molte propietadi si può comparare alla Fisica e alla Metafisica. | (13) For since the beginning of the world it has completed little more than one-sixth of the revolution, and yet we are already in the last age of the world and are still awaiting the consummation of the celestial movement. So it is manifest that the Starry Heaven, because of many properties, can be compared to Physics and to Metaphysics. | |
