Commentary Purg VII 130-132

Henry III of England (1216-72), disparaged by Sordello in his lament for Blacatz (as noted by Poletto [DDP Poletto.Purg.VII.130-132]), is here seen positively and, reversing the trend found in the last three 'couples' of monarchs, his son (Edward I), known as 'the English Justinian' for his compilation of English law, is seen as even more noble than he.
